Nice underwater shots.

Are those longear sunfish? I remember catching several varieties where I grew up in Illinois but I don't think I ever came across those. They're beautiful.

the first is a redbreast sunfish, or "yellow-belly"
the second is a long-ear

here's a fun thread on long-ears

Some taxonomist must have been upset with himself to later discover that the redbreast actualy has a longer "ear".
