What would you like to do for our anniversary?

Yesterday the Rubber Reel Lady and I celebrated 48 years of marriage. It was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and no wind. When she said she would do whatever I'd like to do to celebrate, she found herself cruising up the river. Actually, we fished for about 3 hours in the morning and then I took her out to dinner in the afternoon.

She caught the best fish of the day, this nice 17" smallmouth. As you can see, Fudge checked it out.

Rubber Reel Lady did an awesome catch and release job but she's definitely a "keeper"! Happy Anniversary to you both!

48 years , WOW , congradulations , I'm almost half way there and my wife has finally realized that its fun to catch fish and they taste good too , but she's not up to date on using antique tackle yet .

Since I'm 51, its hard to imagine being married for 48 years.
