Got this at the Duncan Show this past Friday. Don't laugh, at least it is a reel...Made in Bronson, MI...Jerry

Nothing to laugh about. I collaborated with Dave O'Rourke for a Reel News article about that reel. See "Roach Sportsman Reel" March 2004, p 17.

That is a neat piece. That cane pole reel mounted on the cardboard fish has sold all over the board. I have seen them less for as little as $15 and as high as $100. They were made by the Wolverine Reel Company. I don't have much information about them. they were not part of the Bronson Reel Company. Another tackle manufacturer in Bronson I know little about is the Modern Manufacturing Company. They made a product marketed as the Fish Fooler. It was an offset hook harness for spinning lures and spoons.

I got the card pieced back together (you can see the tape). Here it is for those who have never seen one...It still isn't complete but this is all the pieces I had...Jerry
