just got this reel and cleaned it up. It is a pennell with hard rubber side plates and i think it is german silver. has 60 stamped on the foot. (60 yards) i take it.did i do good for 5.00 bucks?let me know. thanks,jim. . .. .

Very nice reel and at a very good price.
Made by Montague. The reel is Nickel plated Brass. The quick way to tell on these is if the spool spindle is not brass colored the the entire spool is plated Brass. Also the bent up ears on the foot. That type foot was used on the plated Brass models. Be careful not to polish or buff to much.
