I have been looking for a copy of this book, Shimano Bantams, The First 15 Years, for a while now. If you know where I can get a copy, that would be very helpful. I am willing to pay up for a copy, if you are willing to sell. Lets negotiate. Thanks for looking and any help you can offer.

OK, I pulled out my copy, #12 that I bought from Phil back in 2008 when this was first offered. I'm not exactly a motivated seller, as I really don't want to sell, but if your offer is strong I may let it go.

Thanks again for parting with this book. Having a poor memory, I have read it 3 or 4 times, trying to get some of what is in it to stick in my brain. Plus, it is entertaining to read, bringing back memories of when I was a kid drooling on the Bass Pro catalog pages that had these fine Shimano reels. Granddad left me my first Shimano, a new in box Bantam 100 with the plastic line guide/level wind. I put carbon drag disc, hybrid ceramic spool bearings, and an Avail lightweight spool on that reel. It is a dream to use for very small baits, and brings back great memories of the man that taught me how to fish. I have 3 others but that one he left me is my favorite for sure, even out of the other 20 or so newer reels I have, it is the one that I would starve to death before I sold it. I miss Paw. We gardened in the morning, fished in the afternoon, ate those fish for supper "if we caught any".
