Okay, BB.. I bought your book 'Stream Dynamics for the Complete Fly Fisherman' and have committed it to memory. I thought I'd try to digest it for those who may be less diligent.
Lesson 1: Water flows downhill
Lesson 2: The bigger the hill, the faster the water goes
Lesson 3: Stuff happens when water flows downhill
Lesson 4: Fish like to eat and they hang out where the food is
It's sorta like my old pal Sonny Fry used to say (to paraphrase):
Streams, Streams, the wonderful Routes,
The more it rains, the more they Shoots,
The more they shoots, the fuller the creels,
And we get fish for all our meals.
And may all our Thalwegs be long and bubbly!

Well, at least you learned something Deke. And the answer to your private email is no refunds on paper items. Especially since you admitted to memorizing it.
PS: I thought of ten ways water flows uphill naturally. There are more I feel certain. Will post upon request (unlikly I'll get a request).
Bad Bob (Thalwegs ain't got legs!)
