Can you identify this reel? HELP??

Any help identifying this reel would be appreciated. It shows a lot of brassing, and i know the screws are mismatched in places, but it's identity has been driving me crazy. Note the unusual knob, and the screw-on counterbalance. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike, it looks a lot like an unmarked Edward Vom Hofe I took to the Lansing Nationals. Check with Andy Foster. He helped identify it. Jim
