Terry reel

Post by Dan Basore »

Here is my Terry reel... a OHAVER & O'BANNON #46. The program at Allentown was great thanks to Laurie, Steve Vernon, the Garrett brothers and others who shared information on this maker. Have an American also that I can't locate.

This reel is 2 3/3 inches in diameter and is 2 1/16 inches wide. I passed on it many years ago at an Indianapolis flea market, then saw it in a shop the next week on display only. The man wouldn't sell it but when I found out he collected Winchester I went to a retired rep for them and brought back a bag full of stuff and traded him for it.

This is my first try to post a picture here. Hope it works.

Hello Dan, Neat reel. We just seem to keep running into each other. I used to live in St. Charles, IL. We have met quite a few times. I was at your house once. You have some neat stuff. Don Champion
