WWII Emergency Fishing Kit

Saw this interesting unopened relic at a recent vintage fishing show. Has anyone seen one of these before? I wonder what reel is in there??

A lot of string, but no reel...but still a very cool vintage item.

WWII Emergency Fishing Kit

I'll have to post a pics of mine that I have. I have a whole display of Air Force survival gear to go with my M-4 survival rifle. There is no reel and most of the stuff in the kit is illegal to use. They are basically fish "traps" as once they are hooked the ain't get'n off. So you would set all that stuff out to fish while you do all your other things you have to do to survive then you come back hopefully to a piece of sushi or if you have your Sterno canister some fired fish.
