J.A.Coxe 9.0 Pricing Help Please

Post by DavidGrier »

Members I again seek your assistance in pricing a reel from The Ray Hodges Collection.
We are moving towards the "higher value" end of the sales and it is hard for me to
price these
items.

Please see attached photos of this lovely reel.

Thanks in advance....

David

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?

With all due respect, this is not an appraisal website. If you need help with the history of a reel maker, ORCA members are great at freely sharing that information. There is a link bookmarked above about “current reel values” that might help.

Just List it with the rest of your auctions and let the market decide. Im sure you will get a fair price.

The more fixed this board is, the broker it gets.... won’t let me send email or PM... at any rate, low end would be $600 and high $900... middle of that is s good bet with such a nice reel. Miss Ray !

John
X 2.....In addition to a couple of other items.....There needs to be some serious fine tuning undertaken.

5/3 Edit: The PM function appears to be back to somewhat normal today in at least I was able to bring up the correct format. Yesterday it was just a blank line and separate blank box. I didn't try to send one today, though.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

*sigh* Yes, it certainly seems like that, doesn't it? lol But maybe limiting PMs is a good thing
