If you like fly reels...

Post by Mike N »

You should consider Steve Woit’s new 350-page coffee-table-style book, “ Fly Fishing Treasures.” I received mine today for $80 plus $20 shipping on eBay.

The collections of ORCA members Dean Smith, Jim Brown, Jim Schottenhem, Jerry Girard and many others are beautifully photographed and described. ORCA is mentioned several times. There are several sections dedicated to British makers Hardy and Farlow. In fact, a substantial portion of the book is about British tackle. But there is enough about the early American fly reel makers for every collector.
