Penn 4300 ss Help

Post by $$$$robert »

I have a penn 4300 ss and the shaft that the spool goes on has a pin through it that fits in a groove on the drag gear on the bottom of the spool. The pin pops out of the gear groove on the bottom of the spool when you rotate the spool instead of staying in to allow the drag to work. What part do I need to fix this? The shaft with the pin through it or the gear that has a shaft that goes through the spool? Also if anyone has the part I need can you contact me with price.
Thanks, Robert Clark

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?
