Ever seen or have a Shake Std. Prof 1754 baitcaster?

Post by colby sorrells »

Anyone have or ever seen a Shakespeare Standard Professional 1754 baitcaster? See 1927 page insert. Please note the catalog shows "exactly the same construction as No. 1753, except that spool diameter is larger"

If you have one would appreciate seeing a photo.

Mmm not sure of a # to put to it BUT I have seen the same I appearance bait caster reel stamped 150 yards AND I did own another version where the spool was about 1/4" wider when put along side the 150 yard reel...that was many moons ago. I do remember I purchased them in the Fulton Street fish market area about 25 years ago...1 of my better Manhattan finds....
