I came into owning this reel last week.
It's home made, I'm assuming.
The Phillips head screws aren't original, or at least I don't think they are.
Although it looks like a 1 pc frame, it's not...someone was just talented enough to build it to appear as a 1 piece.
The foot, is incredible and built like a cradle.
Anywho, I'm looking for any help I can get at all.
There's no senator parts in it from what I can tell, the gears look similar to very large clock gears. I think maybe the knob is from a large senator.
If anyone could help me figure anything out about it, please do.
The reel is huge. It's near the size of any of my 130 class reels.
And the drag is strong enough to pull line off a 14/0 senator at full lock, so that's surprising to me as well.
Also, I'm new to the whole forum thing, so I have no clue how to upload pictures...if someone wants to help me there, I'll upload photos of it
