How to open Humphreys 3A

Post by ron.dunn »

Some time ago I bought a Humphreys 3A, without instructions.

I've now got some time to look at it more closely, but I can't figure out how to remove the line cover. I'm talking about the lid/cover at the top-right of this image:

Screw? Pull? It doesn't seem to move in any direction. There's a spring clip over the top of the cover, which suggests it should pop off, but I don't want to force it in ignorance and potentially damage it.
