Sierra Angling Dragonfly

Post by Bill Muth »

Here is a new one to me - Sierra Angling Equipment Company, Inc. Dragonfly Spin-Fly reel. It's listed in Ben Wright's book, but without any information other than a circa-1950 manufacturing date. Thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone knows anything about it. This is not what I collect, so if anyone is interested in it, feel free to PM me.
Wanted: Horton, Bristol & Meek reels, reel boxes, and catalogs!!!!

Thats very interesting, this was a local company here where i live, my father shopped there upon his arrival from new york in early 50s.
nice to see there are still a few examples of home grown wandering around the world.
