Meisselbach 625

Post by busterboy »

Good Morning,

Just a quick question. I have the opportunity to pick up a Meisselbach 625 and was wondering what it should be worth. I have not seen the reel in person yet, only pix. Appearance wise, it is in good to excellent condition. The seller says it is in good mechanical condition. Can anyone give me a ball park figure on the value of this reel?

Thanks in advance,

Stan

First I would check on ebay for past sales. One is good shape about $75. One in excellent shape $125.

Thanks a bunch. I wasn't able to locate too many on line. What I found were not in very good shape. I will let you know how things turn out.

I added my first Meisselbach to my collection. It is very tight and functions as intended. I don't see any major blemishes. the clicker is even in good shape. I think I made a good investment at $35.00

Nice! About 15 years ago, i paid $150+ for similar! Not sure why they didn’t stay up there... really great, quality reels!

Here's the latest completed auctions on ebay for the reel. Looks like it didn't sell for a "But-it-Now" price of $100 and no bids starting at $75.
