This weekend’s Wall Street Journal has a story about a line of reels, rods and boats designed after Ernest Hemingway’s inshore fly gear. Hemingway’s favorite fly reel was a Hardy St. George, but this new 9-wt reel is ventilated anodized aluminum and looks more like a high-end Abel. The new reels sell for $1200 and are made by Everol. The online article also showed a nice inshore saltwater reel. Made by Everol, https://everolreels.com, they look interesting. Lots of other info on this board on that maker.
