A buddy gave me this reel and said it belonged to his grandpa. I have books on antique reels but I could not find this one.
I've enclosed a few pics. The only id is on the bottom of the reel seat. There is no model number (maybe worn off) It has wheel drag adjustment and anti-reverse. What is unique is the handle. It is actually on a spring that extends when reeling in.
It is in excellent condition after a good cleaning oiling and greasing.
Any idea of year it was made and approximate value?
