Old AJAX Reel

Post by Jed »

Hi All,

I have an old Ajax reel, I have posted a few photos of it. I was wondering what its value would be worth, if I wanted to sell it.

I also have a number of additional old reels, one being a LEES, and a SUN Patent No.
13388/85, and a Capstan No. 44 Pat. No. 104780, and an Alvey Australia
Mod 30/A1

Any information on the reels I have would be great.

Thanks
Jed

Lee's is the company that eventually partnered with JW Young in Topp Tackle, and was bought by Shakespeare in 1962.
