Rod Identification question
I have had this rig for some time now and have yet to find the maker of the opaque blue blank. It has been stripped and re-fitted, looks like 50's or 60's work, and appears to have seen some use after it was re-worked. Overall length is 5' 2". The blank gives this the feel of a light trolling rig. I thought the Pflueger Temco might have been around when this little rig was getting wet so I added that. Can anyone offer info on this blue glass blank?

Re: Rod Identification question
My guess would be Horrocks-Ibbotson, from the late 50's, early 60's. Is that solid fiberglass, or tubular?

Solid. Thank you for your help! Was this blue exclusive to a maker or model or just a batch that was used until it ran out?

Not exclusive to the maker that I know of. That reel seat was used by both Horrocks-Ibbotson & Montague, so there's an outside chance it could be the latter too. Same time frame.

Thank you, Sir! The blue color was a good choice by the maker, in my opinion.
