Don't let This Happen to Your Hard Rubber Reels

Choosing the right screwdriver to take out screws in hard rubber reels is a must. See photo for what happens when the screwdriver blade is too wide or offset from center.

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?

Mmm seen it happen on reels that were exposed to heat. I've seen hard rubber shrink and the rubber got very tight around the screw hole... it's also common when wrong screwdriver used. I've a set of screwdrivers I've actually filed down to accommodate different screws...
Wanted Ultra rare salt water reels including big game as well as unknown rare surf reels!
