Mmm seen it happen on reels that were exposed to heat. I've seen hard rubber shrink and the rubber got very tight around the screw hole... it's also common when wrong screwdriver used. I've a set of screwdrivers I've actually filed down to accommodate different screws...
Wanted Ultra rare salt water reels including big game as well as unknown rare surf reels!
