I thought it might be something like that, but there's no substitute for fingers, thumbs or level wind. In any event, I'm glad it's not contagious. Maybe the seller will tell me about it.

Add-on anti-backlash cast control gizmo, similar to one called Antilash.

I terms of it use, it looks like it would limit a cast, in terms of it collectability, I would grab it. This anti-backlash gizmo is very hard to find.

I would have snagged it if it had been in the states. I'm unfamiliar with the whole overseas buying process. The seller told me that it was purchased by someone in the US, had it delivered to an address local to the seller, and then shipped out of the UK. The shipping cost would seem prohibitive unless the reel is perceived very desirable.
There are some good looking "multipliers" up for grabs across the pond.
