Zangi 3V - old spinning reel with three-speed gearbox ...

[ANTIPES Italy reel]

I thank my friend and great collector Silvano Baraldi for giving me his rare ZANGI 3V (first version) which in turn he had acquired from the Guru of world collecting, the great Ben Wright (who passed away in May 2016).
This reel, which has a particular three-speed gearbox, was sold in December 1961 and comes complete with box, leatherette case, leaflet and warranty booklet.



In addition, Silvano also gave me the business card with a dedication received with the reel from dear Ben.

I am honored to have some spinning reels that belonged to dear Ben in my collection.
Some rare models were sold to me directly by Ben, other models I received from friends who had acquired them previously such as this old "Zangi 3V" (first version).
