Do you know the way to San…Diego?

Post by Mike N »

Yes, I know the title is “San Jose.”

But John Elder lives 7 hours south, in San Diego. I should be arriving this hour, exactly one week from today.

I can’t wait.

I headed out to LA today on my way to San Diego via train next week. TSA confiscated my saltwater fishing pliers out of my carryon reel bag, being supposedly 1/2 inch too long. They also made a snarky remark over all the reels in carryon. Mever had any issues previously, seems like they just had extra hassle time due to the airports being very slow now.

If anyone has a nice set of pliers for sale, bring them in your checked luggage. I would appreciate it.

Perfect, thanks John. I promise I will use them for good and not ISIS activities on a plane.

So far, 42 people have actually paid registration fees and will be getting a printed name badge at the Show. Approximately 20 more have said they are coming, but have not paid yet.
