Montague or U.S. Twine as and earlier version. Like an Oreo cookie on rim Cool feature. 60 Yard. Year made?

Thanks. Just a bit different. Be cool if they had a 6/0 size type reel. Any catalogs with it in there?

Early Montague catalogs are scarce.

Bud, the closest i could find in the 1904 catalogue was this one, which has the coin edge on the back plate and similar shape to the front plate. Foot is also the same configuration. They showed several models that had some variation of a coin edge, so clearly something they did in that time frame. It’s pretty, but no doubt was fragile in use, which might explain why you don’t see it more often. Nice reel!
