I'm I correct in saying that this is a first version, 1939 or 1941 , model 25-N reel? There is no name on either side-plate or date under the foot. Simply says "'Model 25".

Think you are correct in that it is a 1939 first version Model 25, but not the narrow spool version. A nice example.

The "39" under the foot represents the date (1939).
