SNYDER silverware in auction

For the KY reel collector that has it all, you might not have this:

Thanks, Paul.

I put a bid in, despite the obnoxious 24% buyer's premium.

About 25 years ago I obtained a small "G.S." George Snyder sugar spoon in a trade with Howard Fortune, the great Kentucky reel collector, and it remains one of the favorite objects in my collection.

Best of luck, Mike! Personally I would rather have one of these  and then add the silverware later:

I absentee bid $500, which was a total of $620 with the 24% buyers premium.

The 4 pieces sold yesterday at $550 to another bidder ($682 total), or $170.50 per spoon.
