If any one can figure it out, it’s a man with his PhD who has a laboratory in the Department of Molecular Biology at a major research institute named after him “to study the pathogenesis of the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and the mechanisms by which the virus interacts with the host cell.” Yikes.

John, EASY! Step #1; go to your rod collection and select a bamboo rod at least 10’ Long. Step #2; use that rod to start pushing buttons!

John, that is a very dangerous machine for someone to operate without the proper training. There for you need to ship it to my house as I am a certified toolmaker and Modelmaker. Just looking out for your good health.
I am looking for any Indiana style reels that I don't already have in my collection. I have all kinds of reels and lures and some cash to trade for the ones I need.
Re: Gasp! What have i done??!
I not only don't know how to turn it on, but I also don't even know what it's supposed to be.

John- you have a state fair cotton candy making machine- looks like it's missing the mixing bowl. Ebay probably has one. Real bad for the teeth.
you can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish.

Still, nothing is cooler than watching a fly-cutter at work.
My buddy recently added a Shopsmith MkV to his modeling machine shop - a gift from his ex-FIL - I'll never figure out how he does that.
It's at the other end of the man-cathedral (this was staging gear for a next-morning coast run)

Try running one of those that's 20' tall with an 8' ladder to get to the controls and a 10' X 20' work table! We called it the Queen Mary.
