We had a great day today (Thursday) with a trip to the Adarondack Museum and seminars tonight. Unfortunately, wireless Internet connections are scarce and while trying to upload photos tonight my connection kept ... well... disconnecting. I'll try to post photos tomorrow.
A high point of my day was this morning, when a bunch of us hitched a ride on the incredible 100-plus year-old Elco lake boat built for show host Henry Caldwell's great grandfather. Henry was pilot and took us on a brief tour of part of Lake George before tying up a dock at the restaurant. The weather was spectacular, the lake was calm and the ride was a classic. Doesn't get better than that!
Great presentations tonight by ORCA founder Mike Norgay, former president Andy Foster and Pflueger specialist Craig Barber. More to come tomorrow, including the antique tackle fishing contest, casting competition, seminars, dinner aboard a lake steamer and room trading!
Stay tuned...
