Hey Folks.
I'm looking to add a nice fly reel ...or two, or three, to my collection.
In general the reels I am looking for are early, 2.5" in diameter or less (the smaller the better), of good quality and in excellent condition.
Follow this link to get an idea of what I am after: http://www.tackletreasures.com/fly-reels
A few I am specifically seeking are a Redifor Model X, EVH #5 Peerless, Malleson, Chubb, Gayle, (I know, ...good luck with that) nickel silver reels and unknown maker reels.
I really like reels by unknown makers ...reels I've never seen before and have no clue who made them, as long as they are old, small and show decent quality.
I just started collecting English reels again. The only Hardy reel I am looking for is a tiny Hercules. I'd also like a small Farlow with a hard rubber back-plate (see below). Also looking for an all alloy Hercules style reel, as sometimes seen marked "Army & Navy Cooperative Society".
if you have something that may be of interest to me, please get in touch. I pay well for reels that float my boat !
Thanks !
Dean.
