2" diameter Brass Fly Reel believed to be circa 1870's with a patina commensurate with its age. Terry style foot with a single foot screw on the front plate and two screws on the back plate. It has a somewhat weak click which favors left hand wind.

Definitely a Terry reel, with the foot patented in 1871. The patent date is usually stamped on the sole of the foot.
