ISO: Early Engraved Brass Click Reel

Post by leland99 »

I am looking for an early (mid-1800’s) brass click reel that is engraved with the name Theodore Noel or T. Noel. Steve Vernon’s and Frank Stewart’s book “Fishing Reel Makers Of Kentucky” noted two reels having been seen with engravings for Theodore Noel, one with block lettering and the other with script lettering. I would greatly appreciate it if you would check your displays and collections for such a reel. I currently possess one such reel with block lettering. Thanks for helping me locate this needle in a haystack. My contact info is available through ORCA or NFLCC or via a reply to this post.
