I am looking for a Penn 180. The version I am looking for is the saltwater foot (180S), plastic spool, butterscotch knob, like the one in the pictures. If you have one you are willing to part with, let me know.

Bump. Bumped twice by mistake. Can’t delete the second. Sorry.

Wayne,
Could this one work? Functions all good, 180S, wrong color knob.
Bob
PS First photo mono on the back of the spool, no crack

Thanks for responding. The knob is the hardest thing to find, plus I am looking for a shelf queen. They are fantastic little reels! Thanks again.

Wayne,
I don't think that foot was available with the first model reel handle you are referencing. That handle came on a no part number reel. I think I have an example.
Hope this helps, Bob

Re: WTB Penn 180
It was cataloged with that handle from 1949-55.
I know catalogs don’t always represent what’s true to the market, but the ribbed handle was shown on other reels in those same catalogs. I’m left to assume the catalog pictures are accurate.

Re: WTB Penn 180
Thanks Chris. I do have another 180 with a freshwater base, has part numbers, and the smooth, tapered handle. Just like Penn...consistent in their inconsistency.
