Penn 49 A Model.

Hi,

I have been looking for a Penn 49 Model A. I understand that this particular reel was sold only in Africa. I was told that the reel stand is a 30-200 which would make the reel wider than the standard 49. Any information as to where I can locate on of these reels, I would appreciate it.

I've got one, complete with a plastic spool. It not perfect, but if I wanted to make it mint, all I would have to do would be to replace the rings, foot and posts with new stock and it would be mint. I was planning on keeping it but would consider offers I couldn't refuse, especially trades. Send me an e-mail at .
