DAM Quick Factory Parts & Service Manual

Post by Ed Barrett »

I have made 6 copies of the DAM Quick factory parts and service manual that were effective July 1, 1979. I am asking $7.95 each including postage to any address in the USA. Overseas buyers pay the actual cost of mailing.

The manual consists of 32 pages reproduced in black and white on 24 Lb. paper stock, of the names of the parts, exploded views of the reels, schematics, numbers and prices for the parts at that time. The following is a list of the reels covered in this manual.

Note: Many Quick parts are interchangeable and are used in more than one model. These parts carry the same number, i.e., part number 100-016 is used or models 110, 220, 270, 285, 330, 440, 550, 110N, 220N, 330N, 331N, 441N, and 550N.
Models covered: 101, 103, 110,220, 240, 250, 265, 270, 280, 285, 330 440, 550, 1000, 1400, 5000, International 10, 20, 30, 40, SL1, SL2, SL3, SL4, SL5, SLS 0, SLS 1, SLS 2, SLS 3, SLS 4, SLS 5, Champion Bait Casting Series: 700, 700B 800, 800B

Your personal check or a money order is always welcome. If you chose to use a credit card, we gladly accept payments through Pay Pal. Thank you.

Ed, if no one's already done so, I'd buy a copy to donate to the ORCA Library if you can mail direct to Don Champion in SC. Please let me know and I'll pay via paypal.

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?

Slim,
Have you looked in the schematics section of the ORCA library? Here is a link to the relevant cover page.

Hi Paul,
I went to the D.A.M. Schematics, but it would not let me open any of them. Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks Slim

Slim:
The online ORCA library is a self-serve benefit for ORCA members. You have to buy an ORCA membership and then set up a store account in order to download files of interest. ORCA membership gets you a subscription to the Reel News and other member benefits like the library access and annual convention privileges. It's worth every penny if you like old reels. Look here for info on New ORCA Membership and setting up an online ORCA Store account. Joining mid-season gets you recent back issues of the Reel news.

Merry Christmas!
