I believe the South Bend 1300 reel was the nicest reel they produced. It's a combination of German silver, aluminum, and nickle-plated brass. Mechanically the reel is a 9 while appearance-wise it's probably a 7 due to the "boat rash" on the aluminum head and tail plates. The head plate is in better condition than the tail plate. Click and drag are strong and working. Endcaps are jeweled and in good shape. Reel spins effortlessly! Everything is correct and operational.
Sorry for the poor pics - someday I'll have a camera that replaces this tired old scanner! Anyway, I'd take $75 or trade. First one to e-mail me will be the new owner!
Thanks for looking!
