precision screwdriver recommendations

Post by Kelly L »

Anyone have any recommendations on a decent precision screwdriver set that won't break the bank? I believe those made in Sweden, Germany, or USA would be best. I have some, but a clock working friend told me it would take 80 bucks or so for a decent set. I might run into a deal in the future on a set. Who knows I might find some on sale, or see a good set on an auction site or something. I have a ten piece set, but that isn't good enough. (I believe they are Kobalt) The rest of my screwdrivers are Sears Craftsman, with the red, and clear, and the blue and clear...and those work good enough for me on regular stuff. But I guess it will take something more expensive to work on reels, and clock lube, if I can ever figure that out.

I decided on the Chapman 9600. That ought to do well for American made reels. In the future I will need to find a European set.
