Anyone ever tried a good CLR soak on external corroded parts or frames/bodies yet? Since it is DW, coffee pot, eating utensil, washing machine, etc. safe I wouldn't think it would affect paint, plastic or anodizing like some of the chemicals out there. Just curious?

Re: CLR
Here is a Descrip of what it does
Calcium Lime Rust, more commonly known as CLR, is a household cleaning product used for dissolving stains, such as calcium, lime, and iron oxide deposits. Its ingredients include water, lactic acid, gluconic acid, lauramine oxide, Propylene Glycol, n-Butyl Ether, and solvents that dissolve cobalt gel coats and paint.
And a Link to the MSDS on it

It does disolve some paints but used sparingly I think you could use it on most of our Reels.
