Ebonite repair

If you have cracks in an ebonite sideplate, what is the best method to fill and repair it?

I believe the best book available anywhere on reel repair, including repair of hard rubber plates, is an ORCA book available from the ORCA book store (among other items). Won’t try to give you instructions on getting there but I bet some ORCAN will.
