I have a foil decal that I need to glue to the top rim of my side plate, but my concern is finding the right adhesive. The side plate is a bakelite in cream color for a 1962 Fin nor reel. I have one foil and one chance to do this right. Any suggestions on a type of adhesive to use so it will adhere and not bleed?
any time you're talking adhesives, it's scary.
And the best of them is the scariest - superglue - the low viscosity stuff.
When you apply it, it will slip and slide and when it hardens, within about 30 seconds or so, it's permanent.
