Found: New In Bag Pflueger Summit 1993L early jeweled model

I acquired this reel from a 92 year old reel collector named John. He was a WWII fighter pilot who flew P38's & P51's in 73 missions in the European corridor with the Army Air Corps aka Air Force. His daughter told me he loved to fish to calm his mind and was an avid reel collector. He went on to work for and retired from NASA. This is a reel from his collection, one of his favorites, he spooled it when he bought it back in either 38' or 41', he couldn't remember exactly. He bought it from a small fishing store in Irvington, New Jersey and never fished it. It comes in the original Pflueger reel bag and the model is a 1993L Ruby Jeweled Casting Reel. I'm not a Pflueger guy, don't know much about them, but I'm guessing some in here will know more? Thanks for looking, Darin
