Don't want to leave out the spinning reel collectors, so here are photos of a tiny Van Staal, a working (though hardly as smooth as a full size model) reel. Do any of the spinning reel folks here know the story behind these? I can't remember where or when I put this in the collection.

The Van Staal spinners were done by the same company that did the little Fin-Nor's. I think they did ABU reels too. It was about 10 years ago and they came in blister packs, I do not remember the name of the company that made them. Here's something small for the big game reel guys.

With a 1st model 15/0 Fin-Nor double handle big drum for scale.

Jim,

That tiny Van Staal is really cool!
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)
