Kentucky Tarpon Reels

Post by Jay White »

"Kentucky" Tarpon Reels
No. 11 George W Gayle & Son with 1907 Blackburn drag and anti-reverse, one of two known. J.Deally No. 12 only one known. Gayle "Intrinsic," sold by William Mills & Sons, NY. No. 12 BC Miliam, one of three known and No. 11 B.F. Meek & Son. A rare grouping indeed. If you have a Size 6 or larger Kentucky Reel, I'd like to see it or even add it to my collection. Also, looking for Useppa Pins and early Tarpon photos.

OK Jay, I'm interested. How much you want for the 5? Just kidding. Beautiful reels!
