Back again from a short trip to the world famous salmon river in North Norway.
The river is known as the river with the largest salmon in the world.

The canoe is ready to bring me up the river, up where the salmon is

Tying the right fly on the leader...

Having a rest by the fire where we made coffee and sausage over the fire... this is life, far away from the office where I normally spent lot of my time

The morning sun is rising again and a new fishing day can begin.

Those last two photos are the ones I have been waiting to see! You caught some fish. In your previous posts the scenery was awesome but it's better to catch a few fish also. Nice going.

Glad that you all like the Pictures... and it was great finally to catch a salmon  and then with double up.

John, the Uniqua is to small for this rod  so I used my Tibor Spey.

The salmon was made on the fire and it tasted very good :yay

Found one more Picture, the fly is on the way out to the salmon

So now 4 weeks Work and then off to 3 days salmon fishing in Sweden.

My largest was a 30 lb. King from Lake Michigan. Yours made mine look like a baby.

That fish was something else he was 48 in. long 28'"around, the anapest fin was 4' long and the tail was 11" tall! I paid $975.00 for the mount looks way better close, I also caught a 30 pounder that day I will try to find that pic too! We conked him and had 35 pounds of smoked fish it was what every one wanted at the time! Had to buy a big fish box to hold the fish!
