Fishing in Serbia

Post by Robin Sayler »

I have been in Serbia working for a couple weeks now and yesterday I found some time to get some fishing in. We started out fishing for catfish but they didn't cooperate, the Carp were hungry though so we switched to carp fishing. I have one week left here and I hope to hit the river a couple times in search of some pike.

Nice brown trout Robin! Good timing going to Serbia. A few years back there would have been some serious work-related hazards-like being shot at. Keep fishing and good luck with jet lag!

Congrats on finding happiness in hauling in fish so far from home.

Safe travels Robin.

Great post. Many people don't realize carp is considered a delicacy in several East European countries despite the numerous fine bones.
