Muskie on the Mon

Post by Mike N »

My son caught this Muskie while shore fishing last week behind a restaurant on the Monongahelia River in Morgantown, WV. It is a testament to how clean our streams and rivers have become since we sadly lost most of our manufacturing plants over the last few decades.

The Monongahela River flows north through WV to Pittsburgh PA where it meets the Allegheny River flowing south from the Pennsylvania highlands; these two rivers then combine to form the Ohio River starting at the famous Golden Triangle in Pittsburgh.
