Check out this story using vintage tackle. Ironic twist the President of Shimano was using a J.A. Coxe reel!

I'm more impressed with the preservation of the line than the rod or reel. It had two-thirds of the original wet breaking strength.

Cool! There was a Pflueger Templar on the boat too. I guess they put the photo in upside down for preferred composition :lol:
