This Northern Pike measured out at 42 inches and 18 pounds. It was alot of fun getting it in the boat without a landing net. Anyway I didn't use old tackle for this one but it was still alot of fun on my walleye rod with 6 pound line. I let the fish go so any of you who want a big pike this one is still out there.
However i did use alot of old stuff out there. My favorite combination was this one of a orchard action rod with a pflueger summit 1983m. I caught tons of fish on it and other than a few backlashes I didn't have any problems.
